Disassemble Procedure

J 8062: Universal Valve Spring Compressor
EN-46119: Valve Spring Compressing Adapter

Fig 1: Camshaft Caps & Bolts

Remove the camshaft position solenoid valve housing.
Remove the camshaft cap bolts in this sequence (1)-(4)-(2)-(3).
Remove the camshaft caps.

Remove the camshafts (1, 2) and oil seal rings (3).

Remove the valve tappet.
Install the J 8062: Universal Valve Spring Compressor and EN-46119: Valve Spring Compressing Adapter.
Remove the valve key.

Remove the valves (5), springs (3), retainers (2), and seals (4).
