Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement .
    2. Fig 1: Oil Pressure Relief Valve Plug, Spring & Piston (Primary)

  2. Remove the oil pressure relief valve plug (1).
  3. Remove the valve spring (2).
  4. Remove the valve piston (3).
