Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the engine oil. Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement .
  2. Remove the front exhaust pipe. Refer to Front Pipe Replacement .
  3. Fig 1: Transmission Rear Mounting Bracket & Bolts (A/T)

  4. Remove the transmission rear mounting bracket (2), for automatic transmission only.

  6. Remove the oil pan-to-transmission bolts (1).

  8. Remove the oil pan bolts (1).

  10. Remove the oil pan baffle (2).
  11. Remove the oil suction filter (3).
