Removal Procedure

    NOTE: Check and confirm the sequence of the crankshaft caps and bearings.
  1. Remove the pistons and connecting rods. Refer to Piston, Connecting Rod, and Bearing Replacement .
  2. Remove the crankshaft cap bolts.
  3. Remove the crankshaft caps with journal bearings (1).
  4. Remove the crankshaft (2).
  5. Remove the crankshaft rear oil seal (3) with housing (4).
  6. Detach the crankshaft rear oil seal from the housing.
