Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the flywheel or flexible plate. Refer to Automatic Transmission Flex Plate Replacement  and Engine Flywheel Replacement .
  2. Remove the crankshaft position (CKP) sensor. Refer to CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR REPLACEMENT .

  3. Remove the crankshaft rear oil seal with housing (1).
