Installation Procedure

  1. Install the new crankshaft rear oil seal using J 45296-1:  Frame Insulator Remover/Installer and J 7079-2:  Universal Driver Handle.
  2. Install crankshaft position sensor. Refer to CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR REPLACEMENT .
  3. Install the flywheel or flexible plate. Refer to Automatic Transmission Flex Plate Replacement  and Engine Flywheel Replacement .
