Installation Procedure

    NOTE: When installing the camshaft sprockets, the timing adjustment procedure must be accomplished. Refer to Timing Belt Replacement .
  1. Install the camshaft sprockets (1, 2).
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the camshaft sprocket bolts (3).

    Tighten:  Tighten the camshaft sprocket bolts to 65 N.m (47.9 lb ft).

  3. Install the camshaft sprocket bolt caps (4).

    Tighten:  Tighten the camshaft sprocket bolt cap to 50 N.m (36.8 lb ft).

  4. Install the timing belt. Refer to Timing Belt Replacement .
