Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Do not reuse the camshaft seal ring.
  1. Install the camshaft seal ring (1) with new one.

  2. Install the KM-422:  installer (3) with shims (2), with a total thickness of approximately 10 mm and tighten the camshaft bolt (1) manually.
  3. Remove the KM-422:  installer.
  4. Install the camshaft intake and exhaust sprockets. Refer to Camshaft Intake Sprocket with Actuator Replacement  and Camshaft Exhaust Sprocket with Actuator Replacement .
