Oil Pump Assemble

  1. Install the oil pump drive gear and driven gear.
    2. Fig 2: Stator Shaft & Bolts

  2. Align the stator shaft with each bolt hole.
    3. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the 8 bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 9.8 N.m (87 lb in).

    CAUTION: Use extreme care when working around oil seals. Damage to the lip of a seal will cause oil leaks.
  4. Turn the drive gear with 2 screwdrivers and make sure it rotates smoothly.
