Installation Procedure

  1. Install the engine to transaxle brace.
    2. Fig 1: View of Brace & Fasteners

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the fasteners into the engine and transmission.

    Tighten:  Tighten the brace bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  3. Install the heat shield.
  4. Install the heat shield fasteners.

    Tighten:  Tighten the heat shield nuts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  5. Install the right front tire. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
