Shift Lock Control Solenoid Replacement

Removal Procedure

Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution (Battery Disconnect Caution).
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Service and Repair).
2. Remove the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement (Service and Repair).




3. Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
4. Remove the retaining screw, then the shift lock control module/shift lock solenoid assembly.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the shift lock control module/shift lock solenoid assembly, then the retaining screw (2).
2. Connect the electrical connector (1).
3. Install the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement (Service and Repair).
4. Connect the negative battery cable.
