Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the headrest, if necessary. Refer to Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
  2. Fold the rear seat back cushion to the down position.
  3. Remove the 2 plastic hinge covers (1) from the back seat back cushion cover.
  4. Remove the rear seat back trim panel. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Trim Panel Replacement (Left)  or Rear Seat Back Cushion Trim Panel Replacement (Right) .
  5. Remove the center rear seat belt retractor, if necessary. Refer to Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - Center Rear .
  6. Remove the hinge bolts (2) from the rear seat back cushion (3).
  7. Remove the following components from the vehicle:
    • The 2 seat back pivot support bolts
    • The rear seat back cushion (3)
