Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Plastic Hinge Covers, Hinge Bolts And Seat Back Cushion

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  1. Install the rear seat back cushion (3) to the vehicle. Secure the rear seat back cushion with the 2 bolts (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the seat back cushion bolts to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).

  2. Install the outer pivot support bolts to the rear seat back cushion (3).

    Tighten:  Tighten the outer pivot support bolts to 18 N.m (13 lb ft).

  3. Install the center rear seat belt retractor, if removed. Refer to Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - Center Rear .
  4. Install the rear seat back trim panel. Refer to Rear Seat Back Cushion Trim Panel Replacement (Left)  or Rear Seat Back Cushion Trim Panel Replacement (Right) .
  5. Install the 2 plastic hinge covers (1) to the back of the seat back cushion cover.
  6. Return the seat back to the upright position.
  7. Install headrest, if removed. Refer to Rear Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
