Installation Procedure

    Fig 1: Front Seat Assembly, Seat Bolt Finish Covers And Bolts

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  1. Install the front seat assembly to the vehicle. Secure the seat with the 4 bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the front seat assembly bolts to 47 N.m (35 lb ft).

  2. Install the seat bolt finish covers.

  3. Connect the side impact inflatable restraint module electrical connector (1), if equipped.
  4. Enable the SIR system, if disabled. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  5. Perform the Passenger Presence Rezeroing procedure. Refer to Passenger Presence System Rezeroing .
