Installation Procedure

  1. Install the passenger seat inflatable restraint, if removed. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Side Impact Module Replacement - Right Side .
  2. Install the seat back trim panel (2), if removed. Refer to Front Seat Back Trim Replacement .
  3. Install the seat back assembly (1) to the seat adjuster (12).
    4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  4. Install the bolts (3) to the seat back assembly (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts (3) to 43 N.m (32 lb ft).

  5. Install the seat adjuster track covers (11). Refer to Front Seat Adjuster Track Finish Cover Replacement (Inboard)  or Front Seat Adjuster Track Finish Cover Replacement (Outboard) .
  6. Install the front seat head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
  7. Install the passenger front seat assembly. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket .
