Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement .
    2. Fig 1: View Of Oil Pump & Oil Pump Drive Shaft

  2. Remove the oil pump bolt.
  3. Remove the oil pump and oil pump drive shaft.
  4. Inspect the oil pump driveshaft at both ends for rounding of the corners.
