Oil Pump Drive Installation

Apply prelube GM P/N 12345501, (Canadian P/N 992704) or the equivalent to the oil pump drive gear.
Apply engine oil to the oil pump drive gear assembly for ease of assembly.
Install the oil pump drive gear assembly.
Install the oil pump drive gear clamp.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .

Install the oil pump drive gear clamp bolt.
Tighten: Tighten the oil pump drive gear clamp bolt to 36 N.m (27 lb ft).
