Black Light and Dye Method

A dye and light kit is available for finding leaks.

  1. Use the J 28428-E  or the equivalent. See Special Tools . Refer to the manufacturer's instructions when using the tool.
  2. Visually inspect the suspected area. Use a small mirror if necessary

    Refer to Possible Causes for Leaks  if necessary.
