Circuit/System Description

The transmission fluid temperature (TFT) sensor is installed directly in the transmission valve body (V/B). The TFT sensor input/output circuitry consists of an oil temperature sensor signal (-) (OTG), and an oil temperature sensor signal (+) (OT). The sensor converts the transmission oil temperature inside the transmission into an electrical signal and transmits it to the TCM.
