Circuit/System Testing

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Ignition OFF, disconnect the X2 harness connector at the clutch control module.
  2. Ignition ON, verify a test lamp does not illuminate between the following circuits and ground:
    • Low Reference terminal 3
    • Voltage terminal 5
    • If the test lamp illuminates, test the appropriate circuit for a short to voltage.
  3. Ignition OFF, test for infinite resistance between the following circuit terminals and ground:
    • Low Reference terminal 3
    • Voltage terminal 5
    • If less than the specified value, test the appropriate circuit for a short to ground.
  4. Test for less than 5.0 ohms between the low reference circuit terminal 3 and the voltage supply terminal 5.
    • If greater than the specified range, test the appropriate circuit for an open/high resistance. If the circuits test normal, replace the rear wheel driver module clutch housing.
  5. If all circuits test normal, replace the CCM.
