Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister from the vehicle. Refer to Evaporative Emission Canister Replacement .
    2. Fig 1: Rotating EVAP Canister Vent Valve

  2. Rotate the EVAP canister vent valve counterclockwise to release from the locked position.

  3. Remove the vent valve from the EVAP canister.
