Air Conditioning (A/C) Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Replacement (LY7)

Preliminary Procedures Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle . Disconnect the electrical connector from the refrigerant pressure sensor.
1	A/C Refrigerant Pressure Sensor CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Procedure Remove the refrigerant pressure sensor from the compressor hose. Hand start the refrigerant pressure sensor to the compressor hose, taking care not to pinch the O-ring and tighten. Tip: Lubricate the refrigerant pressure sensor O-ring with mineral oil. Refer to O-Ring Replacement . Tighten: 4 N.m (35 lb in)

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Procedure

Remove the refrigerant pressure sensor from the compressor hose.
Hand start the refrigerant pressure sensor to the compressor hose, taking care not to pinch the O-ring and tighten.

Tip: Lubricate the refrigerant pressure sensor O-ring with mineral oil. Refer to O-Ring Replacement .

Tighten: 4 N.m (35 lb in)
