Installation Procedure

Position the transmission mount bracket to the transmission.

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the transmission mount bracket to transmission bolts and tighten to 110 N.m (81 lb ft).

Lower the steering gear to the frame.
Install the steering gear to frame bolts and tighten to 110 N.m (81 lb ft).

Install the intermediate steering shaft to the steering gear.
Install the intermediate steering shaft to gear pinch bolt and tighten to 34 N.m (25 lb ft).

Install the rear transmission mount. Refer to Transmission Rear Mount Replacement .
