Door Body Side Molding Replacement

Front Side Door Center Molding Assembly Tip:
Use a J 25070
to remove the rear side door molding.
- When the molding is warm pull outward to release the retainers.
- When removing protective liners from adhesive tape, be careful not to touch tape with hands and do not allow tape to come in contact with dirt or any foreign matter prior to adhesion.
- Clean all the adhesive from the door side, wipe the surface dry with a clean lint-free towel prior to installing new rear door molding.
- Ensure to close the door prior to attaching the new molding to the rear side door.
- Peel the protective liner from the adhesive tape and secure the rear side door molding to the door.
- Using a towel and hand pressure, wet out the entire length of the molding starting at the rear edge working forward.
