Installation Procedure

    IMPORTANT: Inspect plug bore for old sealant. Ensure bore is clean and free of knicks and burs.
  1. Apply sealer to the camshaft rear bearing hole plug. Refer to Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers  for the correct part number.
  2. Install the camshaft rear bearing hole plug.

  4. Ensure that the camshaft rear bearing plug is installed to specifications.
  5. Install the engine flywheel. Refer to Engine Flywheel Replacement .
