Conditions for Setting the DTC: P2723

The TCM detects an incorrect on-coming clutch gear ratio, or flare, when the 1-2-3-4 clutch is commanded ON and either fail case below is achieved:
Fail Case 1
- The Commanded gear is 1st.
- Output shaft speed is greater than 60 RPM.
- The transmission input shaft speed is 100 RPM or greater from the anticipated input shaft speed for 5 seconds or greater.
Fail Case 2
- The commanded gear is 2nd.
- Output shaft speed is less than 60 RPM.
- The transmission input shaft speed is greater than 75 RPM from the anticipated input shaft speed for 4 seconds or greater.
