Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
    2. Fig 1: View Of HO2S 2 & Harness Connector

  2. Disconnect the HO2S 2 harness connector (3).
    3. NOTE: Silicone based products will contaminate the HO2S. DO NOT use products containing silicone on or near the HO2S.
  3. Use a liquid penetrate before removing the sensor.
  4. Remove the HO2S 2 (2) from the exhaust pipe.
