Removal Procedure

  1. Turn OFF the ignition.
  2. Disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) canister purge solenoid valve electrical connector.
  3. Disconnect the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve hose/pipe.

  4. Remove the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve retaining bolt (2).
  5. Remove the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve (1) from the intake manifold.
