Installation Procedure

  1. Position the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve (1) on the intake manifold.
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. install the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve bolt (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the EVAP canister purge valve retaining bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Connect the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve hose/pipe.
  4. Connect the EVAP canister purge solenoid valve electrical connector.
