Installation Procedure

  1. Lubricate the CMP sensor O-rings with clean engine oil.
    2. Fig 1: View Of CMP Sensor

  2. Install the CMP sensor (1).
    3. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the CMP sensor bolt (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  4. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector to the CMP sensor.
  5. Install the air cleaner inlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement .
