Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .

  3. Remove the lower shock bolt and nut.
  4. Remove the rear wheel house from the vehicle. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Panel Liner Replacement .

  5. Remove the upper shock bolt.
  6. Remove the shock from the vehicle.
