1	Park Brake Cable Eye Procedure Using the J 37043 , release the locking fingers on the park brake cable. See Special Tools . Remove the park brake cable from the actuator lever. Special Tools: J 37043 Parking Brake Cable Release Tool. See Special Tools .
2	Parking Brake Actuator Procedure: Adjust the park brake. Refer to Parking Brake Adjustment .

Preliminary Procedures

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .

Park Brake Cable Eye

Procedure

Using the J 37043 , release the locking fingers on the park brake cable. See Special Tools .
Remove the park brake cable from the actuator lever.

Procedure:
Adjust the park brake. Refer to Parking Brake Adjustment .
