Removal Procedure

Partially drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (LY7 GE 47716 Fill) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LNJ GE 47716 Fill) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LNJ Static Fill) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LY7 Static Fill) .
Remove the heater pipe inlet hose (1) from the heater inlet pipe.

Remove the heater inlet pipe housing bolts (1).
Remove the housing.
Remove the heater inlet pipe housing seal. Discard seal.
