Installation Procedure

Install a NEW heater inlet pipe housing seal.

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the heater inlet pipe housing bolts (1) and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Install the heater inlet hose (1) to the heater inlet pipe.
Refill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (LY7 GE 47716 Fill) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LNJ GE 47716 Fill) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LNJ Static Fill) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LY7 Static Fill) .
