Installation Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the thermostat housing bolts and tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
Install the heater inlet and outlet pipes. Refer to Heater Inlet Pipe Replacement (LY7) or Heater Inlet Pipe Replacement (LNJ) and Heater Outlet Pipe Replacement (RPO LY7) or Heater Outlet Pipe Replacement (RPO LNJ) .
Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (LY7 GE 47716 Fill) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LNJ GE 47716 Fill) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LNJ Static Fill) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (LY7 Static Fill) .
