Removal Procedure

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
Remove the catalytic converter pipe flange to muffler pipe flange nuts.

With the aid of an assistant, separate the rubber insulators (5, 6, and 7) from the exhaust pipe hangers (1, 2, and 3).

With the aid of an assistant, remove the muffler assembly (3) from catalytic converter (1) and the vehicle.
