Installation Procedure

With the aid of an assistant, install the muffler assembly (3) to catalytic converter (1) and the vehicle.

With the aid of an assistant, install the rubber insulators (5, 6, and 7) to the exhaust pipe hangers (1, 2, and 3).

Install a NEW catalytic converter to muffler gasket onto the studs.

CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .

Install the catalytic converter pipe flange to muffler pipe flange nuts and tighten to 37 N.m (27 lb ft).
Lower the vehicle.
