Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the heat shield bolts (3).
  3. Remove the lower heat shield (2) from the exhaust manifold.
  4. Remove the upper heat shield (1) from the exhaust manifold.
