Installation Procedure

  1. Install the upper heat shield (1) to the exhaust manifold.
  2. Install the lower heat shield (2) to the exhaust manifold.
    3. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the heat shield bolts to the exhaust manifold. Tighten the bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
  4. Lower the vehicle.
