Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the dash panel heat shield nut.
    3. NOTE: The heat shields at the dash panel and the catalytic converter overlap and utilizing common rivet attachment points.
  3. Drill out the dash panel heat shield rivets.
  4. Remove the dash panel heat shield.
