Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2009 Pontiac Torrent and 2009 Chevrolet Equinox. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
    NOTE: The retaining clips may get cut off when removing, it will be necessary to tape the quarter window in place to cure.
  1. Install the stationary window into the opening. Refer to Adhesive Installation of Stationary Windows (Quarter)  or Adhesive Installation of Stationary Windows (Windshield)  or Adhesive Installation of Stationary Windows (Liftgate) .
  2. Connect the electrical connector to the quarter window, if equipped
  3. Ensure that the radio has reception.
  4. Remove the double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces and the interior trim.
  5. Close the liftgate window.
