Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2009 Pontiac Torrent and 2009 Chevrolet Equinox. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
    NOTE: The molded encapsulation surrounding the quarter window is made using PVC plastic materials. Use a specific PVC primer application prior to applying the urethane adhesive bead to the window.
  1. Install the stationary window into the opening. Refer to Adhesive Installation of Encapsulated Stationary Windows .
  2. Install the rear side quarter front applique. If equipped.
  3. Install the inside garnish molding.
  4. Remove the double layer of masking tape around the perimeter of the painted surfaces and the interior trim.
  5. Close the liftgate.
