Preliminary Procedure: Remove the headlamps. Refer to Headlamp Replacement (SKY) or Headlamp Replacement (Solstice) .
1	Hood Hinge Nuts (Qty: 4) Tip: Disconnect the wiring harness from the hood on both sides. Mark the hood for proper alignment for re-installing. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Tighten: 25 N.m (19 lb ft)
2	Hood CAUTION: When a hood hold open device is being removed or installed, provide alternate support to avoid the possibility of damage to the vehicle or personal injury.
