Instrument Panel Compartment Door Dampener Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement (Removal and Replacement) .




2. Remove the screw from the I/P compartment dampener.
3. Remove the I/P compartment dampener.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the I/P compartment dampener.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Install the screw to the I/P compartment dampener.

Tighten the screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

3. Install the I/P compartment. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Replacement (Removal and Replacement) .
