Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the transaxle oil level indicator.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  3. Remove the catalytic converter from the exhaust manifold. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement (L26) or Catalytic Converter Replacement (LS4) .

  4. Remove the fluid filler tube bracket bolt.
  5. Remove the fluid filler tube.
