J 44538  Torx® 30+. See Special Tools .

1. Remove the indicated case cover bolts (434-436).
2. Use J 44538  to remove case cover bolt (433). See Special Tools .

IMPORTANT: Be sure to hold the manual valve (404) in place.
3. Lift the case cover assembly (400) off of the case.
4. Remove the thrust washer (432).

5. Remove the upper (430) and the lower (429) case cover gaskets.
