Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
  1. Drain the engine coolant from the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling (L26 GE 47716 Fill) or Cooling System Draining and Filling (L26 Static Fill) .
  2. Remove the engine coolant temperature sensor. Refer to Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor Replacement .

  3. Remove the engine mount strut at the left engine mount strut bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Strut Replacement - Left Side  and Engine Mount Strut Replacement - Right Side .

  4. Remove the engine mount strut bracket bolts.
  5. Remove the engine mount strut bracket.
