Upper Intake Manifold Installation

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .

Install the upper intake manifold bolts and studs.
Tighten: Tighten the upper intake manifold bolts and studs in sequence to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Install the throttle body gasket.
Install the throttle body.
Install the throttle body nuts and bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the throttle body nuts and bolts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Install the engine wiring harness heat shield.
Install the engine wiring harness heat shield bolt and nut.
Tighten: Tighten the engine wiring harness heat shield bolt and nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Install the fuel injector rail.
Install the fuel injector rail nuts.
Tighten: Tighten the fuel injector rail nuts to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Install the ignition control module assembly.
Install the ignition control module assembly bracket nuts.
Tighten: Tighten the ignition control module assembly bracket nuts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
Connect the ignition control module connector to the ignition control module assembly.
Install the wiring harness to the fuel rail.
Install the spark plug wires to the retaining clips and spark plugs.
