Lower Intake Manifold Installation (L32)

Clean the lower intake manifold sealing surface using GM P/N 12346139 (Canadian P/N 10953463) or equivalent prior to installing any seals or gaskets.
Install the lower intake manifold gaskets and seals.
With gaskets and seals in place, apply a small drop 8-10 mm (0.31-0.39 in) of RTV sealer GM P/N 12378521 (Canadian P/N 88901148) or equivalent, to the 4 corners of the intake manifold to block joints (1).

Install the lower intake manifold.
Apply Threadlocker 272 GM P/N 12345493, (Canadian P/N 10953488) to the bolt threads.

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .

Install the lower intake manifold bolts including the two hidden bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the bolts in sequence to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).
