Removal Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to PAINT DAMAGE NOTICE .
  1. Apply masking tape to the fender and door edges.
  2. Open the door.
  3. Remove the rear door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  4. Remove the rear door water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  5. Remove the rear door inner energy absorber pad. Refer to Rear Side Door Inner Panel Lower Energy Absorber Replacement .
  6. Remove the rear door inner window sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Inner Sealing Strip Replacement .
  7. Remove the rear door outer window sealing strip. Refer to Rear Door Window Belt Outer Sealing Strip Replacement .
  8. Remove the rear door window weatherstrip. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Weatherstrip Replacement .
  9. Remove the rear door frame applique. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Frame Front Applique and Front Channel Replacement .
  10. Remove the rear door stationary window with the weatherstrip. Refer to Rear Side Door Stationary Window Replacement .
  11. Remove the rear door window channel retainer. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Channel Retainer Replacement .
  12. Remove the rear door window. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Replacement .
  13. Remove the rear door window regulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Window Regulator Replacement .
  14. Remove the lock rod guide block. Refer to Handle Lock Rod Guide Block Replacement .
  15. Remove the rear door inside door handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Inside Handle Replacement .
  16. Remove the rear door outside door handle. Refer to Rear Side Door Outside Handle Replacement .
  17. Remove the rear door lock. Refer to Rear Door Lock Replacement .
  18. Remove the rear door body side molding. Refer to Body Side Molding Replacement .
  19. Remove the electrical harness from the door.
  20. Remove the rear door rubber conduit. Refer to Rear Door Replacement .
  21. Support the rear door.

  22. Remove the door side hinge bolts in the specified sequence (1, 2, 3, 4). Refer to Rear Door Adjustment .
  23. Remove the door with the aid of an assistant.
